Tucson — March 25, 2024 — Renowned actor Will Roberts, widely recognized for his compelling portrayal of General George C. Marshall in the Academy Award-winning film “Oppenheimer", has joined the cast of "Kate Hugo: Diamond Deputy Agent", an independent feature film being shot exclusively in Southern Arizona. In this upcoming whodunit murder mystery, Will Roberts will step into the role of Mort Fenton, a pivotal character in the film. His distinctive acting prowess and ability to bring depth and authenticity to his roles make him a perfect addition to the film’s ensemble cast. “Kate Hugo: Diamond Deputy Agent" follows the tale of Kate Hugo, an FBI agent tasked with the security of the newly formed Arizona banking system after a Coronal Mass Ejection devastates the earth’s magnetic field, wiping out the electrical grid and technology as we know it. There have been a series of small-town robberies and in the last one, the teller was murdered. Kate must put aside her distrust of traditional law enforcement and work with the local Sheriff to wade through a plethora of suspects to solve the heinous crime.
